WILLOUGHBY, Ohio – Law enforcement from several agencies arrested a woman wanted for drug trafficking inside her Willoughby home on Thursday.
Officials from the Willoughby Police Department, the Lake County Narcotics Agency and the Western Lake County Emergency Response Team arrested 31-year-old Vanessa Pettrey at her house on Chestnut Hill Drive.
Law enforcement received several complaints of drug trafficking coming from the house and after an investigation that lasted several months they were able to arrest Pettrey on Thursday.
Also arrested was Edward D. Nicholson as he was returning to the Pettrey residence. He was arrested on outstanding warrants through the Metro Parks Rangers Office and the Richmond Heights Police Department.
No one was injured in the incident.
Pettrey was taken to the Lake County Jail. She is expected to be in court Friday morning.
