CLEVELAND — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their plans for when the total solar eclipse passes over the greater Cleveland area.
"Solar Fest: Come for the Sun, Stay for the Stars" will take place from Friday, April 5-Monday, April 8, with the museum extending its hours to be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets for the festival can be purchased HERE.
The four-day festival will have a variety of "cosmic activities" for rock & roll fans and families alike, including the following:
- Live music
- Album and playlist listening parties celebrating the music of David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Sun Ra, Taylor Swift, and more
- Trivia contests
- Educational & family programs
- Curated celestial-themed artifacts from Rock Hall's vaults
- Eclipse soundtrack blasting at the museum and throughout downtown Cleveland on the Rock Boxes
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will also offer a weekend-long pass, which includes access to the museum for all four days, a concert by inductee Grandmaster Flash, a year-long Rock Hall Membership, special activities throughout the museum and more. Passes can be purchased HERE.
Officials from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame say that a detailed daily schedule will be released at a later date.
Here are the events that have been announced so far:
