#3 Former WKYC sports anchor, Cleveland Browns broadcaster Jim Mueller dies

Jim Mueller, who became a beloved Cleveland sports media figure both here at WKYC and on the Browns Radio Network, died at the age of 79 in August. Mueller served as WKYC's lead sports anchor from 1983-1987, in addition to serving as a color commentator on the Browns' Radio Network and calling select Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers games.

#2: Report: Cleveland Browns ownership considering two sites for potential new stadium

In June, NEOtrans' Ken Prendergast reported that Browns ownership is "leaning toward building a new stadium versus renovating the existing FirstEnergy Stadium." Prendergast also added that the team has already identified two locations for a potential new stadium: Where the Main Post Office is currently located at 2400 Orange Avenue and a stretch of land along Lakeside Avenue including the current location of the 3News studios.
