#5: Cleveland Browns' Myles Garrett involved in crash
It was Sept. 26 when news broke that Garrett and a female passenger had been involved in a crash on State Road just south of Route 18 in Medina County. Garrett was on the right side of the road when he lost control and his vehicle overturned.

#4: ODNR addresses Cleveland fishing tournament controversy
In early October, the controversy swirling around a Cleveland fishing tournament quickly captured international attention. It came as two competitors were the focus of a video that showed weights and fish filets were allegedly discovered inside their catch.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources issued a statement days later, announcing their officers were preparing a report for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office.
Both competitors have since been indicted.

#3: A Christmas Story House confrontation
In the days after the house from A Christmas Story went up for sale in Cleveland, video from TMZ captured the property's current owner, Brian Jones, yelling at one of the film's actors.
"Leave now! Get away from my property," owner Brian Jones is seen shouting at actor Yano Anaya as he was apparently taking photos with fans at the house. "Don't ever come here again. Never ever again. Leave now. I'm serious. Get going. Leave!"
It came after Anaya, who portrayed bully Grover Dill in the 1983 movie, had expressed possible interest in purchasing the property.

As the Mega Millions jackpot soared to $830 million in late July, two lucky tickets sold in Ohio hit big prize money -- including a $3 million winner that was purchased in Saint Clairsville in Belmont County. The other big winner, which hit $1 million, was sold locally at Hirsch's Marathon in Berea.
