Chardon is picture perfect so far in high school football this 2020 season

The Hilltoppers are 8-0 with a week 10 playoff matchup against New Philadelphia (7-1) this Friday at Chardon High School.

CHARDON, Ohio — Chardon is perfect so far in the 2020 high school football season.

The Hilltoppers are 8-0 with a week 10 playoff matchup against New Philadelphia (7-1) this Friday at Chardon High School. The battle between the Hilltoppers and the Quakers will be our WKYC.com Game of the Week.

Chardon has a potent offense, winning every game this season by at least 21 points.

Hilltoppers head coach Mitch Hewitt is proud of the winning tradition. “We’ve had a great program over the last 40 years. 

The standard that we’ve created here is a state title every year. Some years it’s more realistic, other years it’s not. We’ve never lowered that standard.”

Chardon is looking to win its first regional title since 2003.
