Preview
The stakes are high tonight for both teams as the New York Yankees are on the brink of elimination, and the Cleveland Guardians are looking to capture the ALDS at home.
The Cleveland Guardians have surprised many this season. They have continued to do so in the postseason, including Saturday night's stunning three-run ninth inning, which gave the team a 6-5 walk-off victory over the Yankees in Game 3.
This young Guardians team is hungry for another victory, but the path will not be easy as star Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole takes the mound in a pitching rematch from Game 1 of the series.
In Game 1, the Guardians' offense was tested by Cole, as he only allowed four hits in 6.1 innings pitched. For the Guardians, Quantrill pitched five innings, giving up four hits and three earned runs, as the Yankees went on to defeat the Guardians 4-1.
If the Guardians emerge victorious, they will move on to the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros.
If the Yankees win tonight, both teams will return to the Bronx for an ALDS Game 5 on Monday at 7:07 p.m.
