CLEVELAND — Well, unfortunately, apathy has set in for Browns fans.
I mean, are you losing sleep that the Browns lost this football game today? Do you really care that much? I mean, come on.
They weren't winning this game today, and yes, that's coming from the guy that predicted them to win this game on TV, on social media.
But this is embarrassing, OK? And by the way, you can't nail every prediction. We've seen the Browns win some games they shouldn't.
But this was bad — like, really bad. I mean, we're talking six turnovers total, three interceptions from Jameis Winston, sloppy penalties, and Browns ownership is perplexed about why this team is so bad?
It's embarrassing, just the whole thing, the whole operation.
The Browns fall to Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs, 21-7. They also fall to 3-11 on the season, and at this point, winning only hurts their draft position the rest of the way.
Can you blame Taylor Swift for missing this game in Cleveland? Who would want to watch this today? This was just bad. The weather, everything else, Nick Chubb broke his foot — it's just a bad day overall.
And unfortunately, now we've got more questions than answers when it comes to this football team. It sounds like — again, it sounds like, you never know — the head coach is safe, the front office is safe, so does this just boil down to needing a quarterback?
The defense, I thought, actually played OK today, but the O-line looks old and beat up, among other issues. There are a lot of things they're just going to half to correct and work on and figure out, but I don't even feel like getting into all that today.
I feel like a lot of us are just tired and worn out, and unfortunately, the Browns will do that to you. They're a 3-11 football team — 3-11.
It's been another disappointing football season in Cleveland, and the only people really losing right now feel like you and me.
