NICK'S TAKE: Nick Camino says 'this thing is over with' after Cleveland Browns fall to 2-8

'How it looks on Sundays is even worse than the actual record,' Nick says. 'They quit today down in the Big Easy, OK? They quit.'

Oh, it's really bad now, beyond repair for this current season. This thing is over with.

Your Cleveland Browns? Embarrassed again, this time down in New Orleans 35-14 by the Saints. The Browns falling to 2-8 on the season, and how it looks on Sundays is even worse than the actual record.

2-8 is bad, but I trust my eyes. The Browns can say whatever they want, they can spin it however they want. They're going to say a lot of different things.

They quit today down in the Big Easy, OK? They quit. That game was tied 14-14 in the fourth quarter, they fall behind, and one it was a two-score game, they just quit in the fourth quarter.

That's what it looked like. They quit. To me, that's shameful, that's embarrassing.

Special teams have just been terrible all season. What has happened to Dustin Hopkins? The Browns kicker signed a nice contract extension over the offseason; he hasn't made a kick since then.

The defense is unrecognizable from a year ago. Offensively, there's very little spark.

The future franchise quarterback is not here, is not on this roster. The playmakers aren't making very many plays, the offensive line looks old, and they guys that are young are either hurt or making "business decisions" not to play.

And that brings me to Kevin Stefanski, the head coach. Does he shoulder all of the blame? No, not all of it, but much of this does begin to fall on him.

Now, is that fireable? That's something a lot of people are going to be talking about. I'm not going that far yet. The two-time coach of the year you just gave a contract extension to, I'm not doing that.

However, a few coordinators could be shown the door — offense, defense, special teams, everybody.

I feel bad for Browns fans, I really do. You don't deserve this, especially coming off a trip to the playoffs last season. Not even just the losing, but the quitting, the lack of effort, the wasted football season that we're witnessing again in Cleveland.
