COLUMBUS, Ohio — Football ticket prices for Ohio State students are going up again.
The Ohio State Board of Trustees on Wednesday approved a proposal from the finance and investment committee to increase student ticket prices for football games by $10, meaning tickets will be $44 from $34. Additionally, a full-season ticket package will cost $308 and a B1G Conference ticket package will cost $176.
According to the board agenda, committee members say the Big Ten Conference expansion from 14 to 18 teams and the new scheduling process presented challenges for the athletics department.
Last year, the Board of Trustees approved price ranges for fiscal years 2026 and 2027 where the athletics department will determine single and season ticket prices once game dates are known.
This is the second time student ticket prices increased in 13 seasons. From 2013 to 2023, student ticket prices were $34 a game. For the current season, they increased to $36 for non-conference games and $38 per conference games.
The ticket price increase will go into effect in fiscal year 2026, which begins on Oct. 1, 2025, and lasts through fiscal year 2027, ending on Sept. 30, 2027.
For the 2024 season, single-game tickets available to the public through the university ranged from $50-$132 for non-conference opponents and from $73-$221 for most Big Ten home games. Tickets to the Michigan game started at $196 and cost as much as $462.
