1995 Indians stars to reunite at 25th Greater Cleveland Sports Awards: How to buy tickets

This year, the Greater Cleveland Sports Awards will offer a $75 ticket for the 'Diehard District.'

CLEVELAND — The Greater Cleveland Sports Awards is set to celebrate 25 years of honoring Northeast Ohio’s top athletes and moments on Feb. 6, 2025. 

In addition to honoring athletes from high school to the professional level, the annual event at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will feature a special reunion of the 1995 Cleveland Indians.

Tickets are officially on sale for the ceremony, including a new ticket option for 2025. This year, sports fans can buy a $75 ticket to the "Diehard District," which includes access to the awards show and after-party, plus a $10 concession credit.

This year’s awards ceremony will also introduce a new format with dual stages. 

According to organizers, the Legends Stage will spotlight fireside chats headlined by a special reunion of the 1995 Cleveland Indians American League Championship team. Confirmed attendees include Carlos Baerga, Kenny Lofton and manager Mike Hargrove. Additional names are expected to be announced. 

Meanwhile, the Champions Stage will be the centerpiece for the evening’s awards presentations and other highlights.

The evening will also feature red carpet arrivals, a cocktail hour, a silent auction and an after-party. 

Awards will be given in the following categories during the ceremony:  

  • Male High School Athlete of the Year
  • Female High School Athlete of the Year
  • Male Collegiate Athlete of the Year 
  • Female Collegiate Athlete of the Year 
  • Professional Athlete of the Year  
  • Best Moment in Cleveland Sports 
  • Cleveland Clinic Sports Medicine Courage Award  
  • Lifetime Achievement Award 
  • Senior Athlete Award
  • Sports Development Award

The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission also noted that a host announcement will be made in the near future.
