When the Berea-Midpark High School football team kicks off the season Friday night at Bedford, the Titans will have a new look between the hashes and on the sideline under first-year head coach Jon Hunek.
Berea-Midpark returns only three starters from the 2015 playoff squad that posted a 6-5 overall record.

The Titans, who feature a 10-member senior class, are expected to be led by running back and outside linebacker Tyrese Holland, linebacker Jordan Hiatt and cornerback Trevon Butler.
Trevor Bycznski, one of 10 sophomores expected to see significant varsity playing time this fall, is set to be the team’s signal caller in the Titans’ newly implemented spread, up-tempo offense.
Hunek, who is entering his first season as a varsity gridiron coach, recently discussed his Titans with Channel 3 Sports. Listen to the audio file below to learn about the squad and why Hunek is optimistic about its fortunes this season.
Berea-Midpark opens the home and Southwestern Conference portion of its schedule against Lakewood in Week 2.
