BARBERTON, Ohio — Is Olmsted Falls a state title contender? If they play like they did tonight, you better believe it.

The Bulldogs turned in a stellar performance in WKYC.com's High School Football Playoff Game of the Week, beating the Barberton Magics 41-7 in the second round of the Division II, Region 6 playoffs. Running back Rocco Conti carried the team all night long with four total touchdowns, three on the ground and one through the air.

Sixth-seeded Olmsted Falls (10-2) got the scoring started midway through the first quarter when Charlie Ciolek found Gavin Moore for a 38-yard touchdown. It looked to be the start of a close battle between evenly-matched teams, but No. 3 Barberton (10-2) struggled to move the ball against the Bulldog defense, and Conti pounded it into the end zone twice to make it 21-0 at the half.

Ciolek hit Conti from 10 yards out to make it 27-0, and although the Magics would get on the board and had a chance to stop the Bulldogs on their next possession, a 40-plus-yard screen to Conto set up his fourth TD to put the game out of reach. Adam Varga added a late score to provide the final margin.

The victory is the first for Olmsted Falls in the round of 32 since 2017, and helps erase the bitter sting of last year's overtime loss to 1-6 North Royalton. The Bulldogs will face their Southwestern Conference co-champions in Avon next week at a neutral site, a rematch of a Week 7 clash that saw the No. 2 Eagles trail for much of the night before pulling away in the fourth quarter.
