VOTE NOW: Buckeye-Valley Forge holds early lead in WKYC.com's High School Football Game of the Week poll

However, the other two options are not far behind. Voting runs though 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

CLEVELAND — EDITOR'S NOTE: The video in the player above is from our previous Game of the Week

We're about to reach the halfway point in Ohio's high school football season, and several teams in the Greater Cleveland area are already making their mark.

One of those teams, Medina, was featured last Friday in WKYC.com's High School Football Game of the Week. Behind the stellar play of quarterback Drew Allar and a strong second-half defense, the Battling Bees prevailed 38-27 over a deep Stow-Munroe Falls team to improve to 4-0.

You can re-listen to our broadcast of the game in the player below:

Now we're ready for voting in Week 5, and we once again have three very intriguing options for you to choose from. The matchups include one of the fiercest rivalries in the area, as well as three teams we have never featured before.

Your choices are:

  • Buckeye (3-1) vs. Valley Forge (2-1)
  • Eastlake North (2-2) vs. Willoughby South (4-0)
  • Cleveland Central Catholic (2-2) vs. Villa Angela-St. Joseph (3-0)

As of 1 p.m. Tuesday, Buckeye vs. Valley Forge holds a slight lead with 51.7% of the vote, but the other two options are not far behind. You can cast your ballots either at this link or in the survey below. One lucky fan will also win a free meal from Chick-fil-A!

The poll runs through 12:30 p.m. this Wednesday, with 3News' Dave "Dino" DeNatale and Tyler Carey announcing the winner later that day on their weekly high school preview show. Dino will then call that game live Friday night via audio stream beginning  on WKYC.com, the WKYC app, and the WKYC Facebook and YouTube pages, with video highlights being featured on that evening's edition of "What's Next" at 11 p.m. as well as on our website.

Good luck to all the schools involved, and happy voting!
