AKRON, Ohio — NASCAR is recognizing the impact Matt Kaulig has made on Northeast Ohio.
Kaulig, the owner of Kaulig Racing and Kaulig Charitable Giving Programs, is nominated for the 2020 Comcast Community Champion of the Year Award.
The award is created to recognize the philanthropic efforts of individuals within the NASCAR industry.
Kaulig also joins Clay Campbell (Martinsville Speedway President, Campbell Family Foundation) and Bubba Wallace (NASCAR Cup Series driver at Richard Petty Motorsports, Live To Be Different Foundation) as the three finalists.
In 2018, Matt and his wife, Lisa founded Kaulig Charitable Giving Programs to focus on the well-being of children and families through direct giving and community involvement.
Kaulig supports Akron Children’s Hospital, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland and Breakthrough schools.
