Cleveland Guardians host 6th annual Giveathon: How you can help make a difference

Since 2019, the annual event has raised nearly $1 million for Cleveland Guardians Charities.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Guardians are set to face the Kansas City Royals in a crucial AL Central series. 

Between Aug. 25-Sept. 1, the Guardians will celebrate CLE Inspires Week, a week-long celebration focused on sharing the teams' community efforts and more. 

On Tuesday, the team will have its sixth annual Cleveland Guardians Charities Giveathon. 

3News' Dave Chudowsky was live this morning at Progressive Field, previewing the event on GO! In addition, 3News' Jay Crawford will be live at Progressive Field on Tuesday evening for the event.

WKYC will broadcast Tuesday's 6:40 p.m. game against the Kansas City Royals, which serves as the 6th annual Cleveland Guardians Giveathon. 

Anyone who donates $100 or more starting at 5:30 p.m. will be eligible for an autographed baseball from a 2024 Guardians Player while supplies last.
