CLEVELAND — Heading to Progressive Field? There's a change to the ballpark's bag policy that you need to know.
The Cleveland Guardians announced Wednesday that small bags will once again be permitted inside Progressive Field during the 2022 season.
“Due to fan feedback, Progressive Field is returning to the bag policy it implemented during the 2019 season,” the Cleveland Guardians said in a statement.
So what does that mean for you?
Small bags not exceeding 16”x16”x8” in size are permitted inside the ballpark. All manufactured diaper bags are also allowed.
Most recently, fans were only permitted to bring small clutches (9”x5”x2”), medical bags and diaper bags into the park.
The Guardians host their 2022 home opener on Friday, April 15. You can watch the game on WKYC with first pitch set for 7:10 p.m. Our expanded coverage begins at 3 p.m.
