CLEVELAND — Have you always wanted Guardians season tickets, but thought the price was just a little too steep?
Your golden opportunity may finally be here, thanks to a unique offer that is sure to be a "home run" with fans.
On Tuesday, the club unveiled its new "Ballpark Pass" for the 2023 campaign, selling standing-room tickets to all 81 regular-season games at Progressive Field for the price of only $49 a month. And yes, this means all home games, including the home opener on April 7, the highly attended Dollar Dog Nights, and more exclusive contests such as those against the Yankees and Red Sox.
So, how does it work? Well, all you have to do is log on to CLEGuardians.com and purchase your pass, while also giving a valid email address and password for an MLB.com account. The tickets are then sent directly to the MLB Ballpark app on your smartphone, and can be scanned directly at the gate during each home matchup.
Once you buy the tickets using a valid credit or debit card, they are automatically renewed to your account prior to each month. Fans can opt out for no extra charge by emailing fanservices@cleguardians.com with the subject line "Ballpark Pass Opt-Out Request," but the deadline to do so before being charged again is the 23rd day of each month.
If you're interested in the offer but maybe don't want to purchase seats for April just yet, no need to worry! You can also opt-in prior to each additional month during the regular season. However, this must occur prior to noon on the day of the first home game of every month, with the exact dates as follows:
- April 7
- May 5
- June 6
- July 3
- Aug. 4
- Sept. 1
Since these are "standing room only" tickets, they are technically only good for areas such as the Corner Bar, left field and right field drink rails, the Home Run Porch, and Heritage Plaza. While lesser-attended games could have empty seats available, you likely find yourself standing most of the time during sellouts.
The organization made clear these tickets are non-transferable and cannot be shared or sent to any other MLB account, although you can purchase multiple passes and use them for different people using your phone. Also, this promotion is only being offering during the regular season, meaning if the Guardians make the playoffs again, spectators will once again have to pay full price.
