Cleveland Guardians announce fun events during Houston Astros series

CLEVELAND — When Slider visits the 3News Studios, you know something fun is coming your way!

Tuesday was no different, when the Cleveland Guardians stopped by to talk about some fun promotions running this weekend when the team takes on the Houston Astros in a three-game series.

June 9-11:

  • $12 tickets: Fans can grab $12 tickets in the Upper Box and Upper Reserved areas from June 9-11. Offer is only available until Thursday, June 8 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Friday, June 9:

It's Pride in the Park! Fireworks and fun -- see below:

  • Free Shirt Friday: This Friday, June 9, and all summer long, the first 12,500 fans get a free Guardians T-shirt.
  • Dollar Dog Night: $1 hot dogs courtesy of Sugardale (while supplies last).
  • Phantom Fireworks - Pride in the C-L-E - presented by Legacy Roofing
  • $2 Pregame in the District presented by Miller Lite (5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.)
  • First pitch thrown out by former Cleveland Indians pitcher, TJ House. 

Saturday, June 10:

  • Triston McKenzie Jersey courtesy of Sugardale (first 12,500 fans)
  • Phantom Fireworks - Summer of Love - presented by Dunkin’
  • $2 Pregame in the District presented by Miller Lite (4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.)

Sunday, June 11:

  • Kids Fun Day
  • Kids Run the Bases presented by Cleveland Clinic Children’s
