CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Guardians have announced that their Friday night game against the New York Yankees at Progressive Field has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The game will be made up on Saturday as part of a split doubleheader. Gates for the first game on Saturday will open at 11 a.m., followed by the first pitch at 12:10 p.m. Only fans with an April 12 ticket will be able to attend.
Prior to the second game, the Guardians will clear fans from the ballpark.
Fans who cannot attend the makeup game on April 13 will be able to exchange tickets for a game at a later date.
The Guardians released information on ticket exchanges that can be viewed below:
Season Ticket Members
- Season Ticket Members holding tickets dated April 12 can attend the April 13 game at 12:10 p.m. without exchanging their tickets. If they are unable to attend the April 13 game, they can exchange for tickets to any game that is available through the My Tickets Exchange program starting now. Tickets must be exchanged by April 13 at 12:00 p.m. ET if they do not plan to attend the 12:10 p.m. ET game on April 13.
Single-Game Ticket Purchasers
- CLEGuardians.com purchasers holding tickets dated April 12 can attend the April 13 game at 12:10 p.m. without exchanging their tickets. If they are unable to attend the April 13 contest, they must exchange their tickets online only at CLEGuadians.com/mytickets for one of 45 different game options. All single-game tickets can start exchanging now. Exchanges must be made no later than April 13 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
- Only single-game purchases made directly from the Ballpark app or CLEGuardians.com can be exchanged
- Ticket exchanges are final and must be completed in one transaction. All tickets must be exchanged into the same game
- If fans encounter any issues, they can call 216-420-HITS
Group Ticket Holders
- Group ticket purchasers will be contacted by their account executive.
SeatGeek, StubHub & Secondary Marketplace Purchasers
- All SeatGeek, StubHub & other secondary marketplace purchasers will be contacted directly by the company they purchased from. Tickets purchased from a secondary ticket marketplace for the April 12 game will be accepted for the 12:10 p.m. game on April 13.
