The deal, pending court approval, will allow for Guardians games during the 2024 season to be broadcast on Bally Sports.

Additionally, Diamond Sports Group has reportedly reached deals with the Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers according to Evan Drellich of The Athletic.

“We are pleased to have reached agreements with the Cleveland Guardians, Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers that work for all parties and enable us to continue delivering high-quality, live game broadcasts on Bally Sports to dedicated fans through the 2024 season,” a Diamond Sports Group spokesperson told The Athletic.

Earlier this year, Amazon announced a partnership with Diamond Sports as part of a restructuring agreement as the largest owner of regional sports networks looks to emerge from bankruptcy.

Previously, Diamond Sports Group reached agreements with the NHL and NBA to keep local rights through the end of this season.

The regular season for the Cleveland Guardians will get underway on Thursday, March 28, as the team takes on the Oakland Athletics. The Guardians will host the Chicago White Sox at Progressive Field on April 8 for their home opener.

The time of the home opener has not yet been determined, as the solar eclipse falls on the same day.
