CLEVELAND -- On April 1, the Cleveland Indians will hold their annual home opener when they host the Chicago White Sox at Progressive Field.
And for the 27th consecutive season, they'll do so in front of a sold out crowd.
Less than an hour after single-game tickets went on sale to the general public, the Indians announced that their first home game of the 2019 season has sold out. Tickets for all other 80 home games this season remain available at Indians.com/Tickets.
Given the demand, the Indians are encouraging fans to purchase tickets early. The team expects its most popular promotional games to sell out quickly.
Although single-game purchases for the Home Opener are no longer available, fans can still lock in Home Upener tickets with a Full Season Ticket Plan. All season ticket holders will also enjoy other perks including postseason priority, All-Star Weekend priority, annual season ticket holder autograph events and "much more."
Fans interested in purchasing season tickets can do so at Indians.com/SeasonTickets or by calling 216.420.HITS.
