CLEVELAND -- With LeBron James headed West, his Nike banner is coming down. But if Cleveland Indians fans have their way, it won't take long to redecorate the Sherwin-Williams building downtown.

On Monday night -- the day after James announced he's leaving Cleveland to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers -- Francisco Lindor turned in one of his best performances of the season, hitting two home runs and tallying 7 RBIs in the Indians' 9-3 victory over the Kansas City Royals.

And with the Sherwin-Williams building suddenly in need of a new banner, Indians fans turned to shoe manufacturer New Balance -- which signed Lindor to an endorsement contract in 2017 -- to foot the bill for the replacement.

If Cleveland is going to go the athlete route for a new banner, Lindor would make for a more than suitable replacement. Since being called up to the big leagues three years ago, the Puerto Rico native has made two All-Star games, hitting for a .294 average, 83 home runs and 273 RBIs, in addition to winning a 2016 Gold Glove and 2017 Silver Slugger award.

Perhaps most importantly, the 24-year-old remains under team contract through 2021.
