GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Spring is getting closer...
The Cleveland Indians are back in Arizona preparing themselves for another season of baseball.
We sent 3News' morning news anchor Dave Chudowsky to spring training to cover every angle of this year's Tribe.
For starters, it's clear skies and sunshine with temperatures in the 70s.
"We arrived today and we are looking forward to a big week ahead," Chudowsky said.
The Indians currently have the longest championship drought in Major League Baseball.
"93 wins was not enough as their journey to get back to October starts now in February. You won’t see guys like Corey Kluber or Jason Kipnis anymore, but we will introduce you to the new guys this week."
Chudowsky will also be chatting with Francisco Lindor, the Tribe's most popular player, about his contract situation.
Monday marks the Tribe’s first full-squad workout, and Chudowsky will be there to bring all the latest baseball updates on 3News throughout the day.
