Jose Ramirez apparently loves Yankee Stadium.
Thursday night, the Tribe's third baseman got off to a torrid start by hitting his first career grand slam in the first inning off of Yankee right hander Chad Green.
The grand slam was followed by home runs by Jason Kipnis and Roberto Perez as part of a seven-run first inning for the Indians.
But wait, there's more.
In the second inning, facing Jonathan Loaisiga, Jose struck again.
That's two homers and 6 RBI in two innings of work if you're scoring at home.
After a miserable start to the season, Ramirez is now hitting .249 with 19 homers and 73 RBI on the season. I thought my colleague Ben Axelrod put it best:
