CLEVELAND -- Prior to the Cleveland Indians' 3-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday, fans were treated to the most must-see show in all of sports entertainment.
OK, so Indians fans weren't quite treated to an episode of 'Miz TV.' They did, however, get to enjoy WWE superstar -- and Parma native -- Mike "The Miz" Mizanin throwing out the ceremonial first pitch in a moment the 8-time Intercontinental champion documented as only he can.
A notorious sports fan, The Miz is no stranger to the Cleveland sports scene. Not only is he a regular at Browns games, but he filmed pre-game promos that played throughout the Cavs' run to a fourth straight NBA Finals earlier this year. In July, he donned an Indians cap and jersey while taking home MVP honors during the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game in Washington D.C.
But while the co-star of "Miz and Mrs." wore his own last name across the back of his jersey during that appearance, on Wednesday, Mizanin wore a different label across his back. Paying homage to his newborn daughter, the former WWE world champion wore a jersey that read her name, "Monroe" across the back.
Today's first pitch is dedicated to my daughter @monroeskymizanin as Roger Dorn would say "Strike this moth...oh wait, no more swearing. Let's put it this way only a strike will do. Oh and no pressure @ckluber28 pitching today. LETS GO @indians

Given the success the Indians found on Wednesday, don't be surprised to see the master of 'The Skull Crushing Finale' back at Progressive Field later this fall.
