CLEVELAND — Major League Baseball has announced the complete list of contestants and the bracket for Monday's T-Mobile Home Run Derby at Progressive Field as part of the All-Star Game festivities.

GUIDE | 2019 MLB All-Star Game: Everything you need to know

Tribe first baseman Carlos Santana has been seeded No. 7 and will be matched up against Mets rookie sensation Pete Alonso, who has already blasted 28 home runs this season.

Seeding for the competition is based on home run totals through Tuesday’s games. There will be three rounds in all.

Christian Yelich, MIL (1) vs. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., TOR (8)

Alex Bregman, HOU (4) vs. Joc Pederson, LAD (5)

Pete Alonso, NYM (2) vs. Carlos Santana, CLE (7)

Josh Bell, PIT (3) vs. Ronald Acuña, Jr. ATL (6)

Santana, who will make his first-ever appearance in the MLB All-Star Game, will be the Indians’ sixth representative in the 30-plus year history of the Home Run Derby and the franchise’s first participant since multi-time All-Star center fielder Grady Sizemore competed for the American League in the 2008 Derby at Yankee Stadium in New York City.

Santana is looking to become the first Indians player ever to win the Home Run Derby. This year's prize for winning the competition is a cool $1 million dollars.
