CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers are set to embark on their playoff journey for the first time in five years.
Throughout the entirety of the Cavaliers playoff run, the team has announced that there will be a tailgate at Tower City Center before all home games.
The event, which is free to the public, is open to all ages regardless of if you have a ticket for the game or not.
The time of each tailgate before the home contests will vary:
- Game 1: Saturday, April 15, 3 p.m.
- Game 2: Tuesday, April 18, 4:30 p.m.
At the event, fans will be able to enjoy the following:
- Get game day ready with Cavs-inspired face paint and temporary tattoos while enjoying music and interactive photo opportunities
- Watch performances by the CAVS Entertainment teams. Mingle at the exclusive Cavs United members lounge
- Shop the Cavaliers Team Shop on level two at Tower City for the latest official Cavs playoff gear
- Grab a bite to eat from various food vendors on site. Beer, Spirits, and soft drinks will also be available
- Win great giveaways and prizes... and much more!
For fans who have tickets to the game, the RTA Walkway will be open that connects to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
The Cavaliers also announced that there will be watch parties in Cleveland when the team heads on the road. Official details on the watch parties for Game 3 and 4 have not been announced yet.
The Cavaliers will begin their playoff journey on Saturday, April 15, at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse against the New York Knicks. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
