So now that you've seen the Cavaliers wearing their 'City Edition' uniforms for the first time in game action, what do you think?
The Cavs debuted the new blue and orange throwback color scheme jerseys during Tuesday's 113-89 win over the Charlotte Hornets at Quicken Loans Arena. The Cavaliers outscored the Hornets, 38-23, in the opening quarter and never looked back.
Six players scored in double figures for the Cavaliers, led by Jordan Clarkson, who had 24 points off the bench. David Nwaba added 18 points for the Cavs, who improve to 2-11 on the season.
Let the record reflect that Rodney Hood scored the first basket wearing the new uniforms.
The Cavs' 'City Edition' threads pay homage to the team's uniforms of the mid-late-90s, with a 'splash' design across their chests and shorts. The jerseys also feature the team's current numerical font, Cleveland's tourism script across the chest, as well as a "1 of 5 Greats" tag to represent Lake Erie's place among the Great Lakes.
