CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers are the hottest team in the NBA and are planning a cool giveaway involving a pair of Northeast Ohio natives next month.
All fans in attendance on March 5 when the Cavaliers host the Boston Celtics at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will receive a bobblehead that will feature NFL stars and Cleveland Heights natives Jason and Travis Kelce.
On Tuesday, the Cavs released a preview of the bobblehead figurine featuring the Kelce Brothers wearing the Cavs' "Black Statement" jerseys with their NFL numbers.
The Cavs say they worked closely with the Kelces to design a bobblehead "that honored the brothers' passion for basketball and their hometown roots.
Also, the Cavs announced that to commemorate Kelce Brothers' high school achievement, which began at Cleveland Heights High School, a limited number of one-of-a-kind throwback bobbleheads will also be available as part of an exclusive single-game ticket package. The limited-edition figures will feature the brothers in their original Cleveland Heights Tigers letterman jackets. To recognize the brothers’ hometown roots, the Cavs have donated $10,000 towards Heights Schools Foundation Initiatives, an organization that is important to both Jason and Travis.
The Kelce Brothers and the Cavaliers also plan to launch a merchandise collaboration called "The Kelce Bros: Cleveland's Finest" on the night of the game. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Heights Schools Foundation Initiatives. Fans can sign up to be notified when the limited edition merchandise goes on sale at cavaliersteamshop.com.
Tickets to the March 5 game are available at cavs.com/kelcebobble. Fans can Text KELCE to 30594* to sign up for notifications and be the first to know when the special edition ticket package goes on sale.
