LeBron James' return to Quicken Loans Arena in November with the Los Angeles Lakers highlights the Cleveland Cavaliers 2018-19 regular season schedule, which was released on Friday.
James and the Lakers will visit Cleveland on Wednesday, November 21 in a game set to be televised nationally on ESPN. The two teams will meet again on Sunday, January 13 at Staples Center in Los Angeles on NBA TV.
The Cavs will officially tip off the season on Wednesday, October 17 on the road in Toronto. The first home game will be on Sunday, October 21 against the Atlanta Hawks.
Other games of note on the schedule include:
- Wednesday, December 5: The two-time defending world champion Golden State Warriors visit the Q to face the Wine and Gold
- Monday, January 21: Martin Luther King Jr. Day afternoon game versus Chicago Bulls at the Q
- Tuesday, February 5: First appearance of the season by Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics at Quicken Loans Arena
The Cavs are slated to appear seven times on national television this season:
