Five years ago, Iman Shumpert was receiving his NBA championship ring as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
On Monday, the former NBA guard found himself in the spotlight for a different reason due to his standout performance on "Dancing with the Stars."
With the theme of the evening being contemporary dance, Shumpert took the stage with his partner, Daniella Karagach. Wearing red jumpsuits, the duo paid homage to the 2019 horror film, "Us," while dancing to a remix of one of the movie's signature songs, "I Got 5 on it" by Kuniz.
Between its combination of creativity and skill -- as well as some impressive acting -- Shumpert and Karagach's performance spoke for itself. It also earned the duo a perfect 40/40 score, with judge Derek Hough stating: "That was something people are going to watch over and over and over."

Shumpert's impressive showing didn't just grab the attention of the judges, but also social media and some of his former Cavaliers teammates. Taking to Twitter on Monday night, both LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were among those to praise Shumpert and Karagach's performance.
"Man my G @imanshumpert in his f’n [bag]!!!!!!" tweeted James, who played with Shumpert in Cleveland from 2015-2018. "LFG. Don’t even try to front, just respect the conglomerate!"
Added Dwyane Wade: "Stop playing with this man @imanshumpert."
