Following the Cleveland Cavaliers' Tuesday shootaround in Miami, Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon noticed that LeBron James was wearing the same shoes -- the Nike LeBron 15 'Air Max 95' -- that he had worn on Sunday in the Cavs' victory over the Brooklyn Nets.
"This is the first time I’ve ever seen you wear the same shoes two days in a row," Vardon, per his Twitter account, told James.
"Those shoes deserve to be worn twice," James replied. "But the s--ts I’m wearing tonight, they ain’t never been seen before."
The King didn't disappoint.
Unveiling a new bright blue and pink colorway of his signature shoe, James' Nike LeBron 15 'South Beach' threatened to make the Cavs' 98-79 blowout loss a mere footnote. The regular season might be winding down, but James' sneaker game is just heating up, bringing a whole new meaning to the popular hashtag #LeBronWatch.
Tuesday was hardly the first time James' shoes made headlines this season.
After the past few iterations of his signature shoe line -- which began with the Nike Air Zoom Generation in his rookie season in 2003 -- were met with mixed reviews, the LeBron 15's have reignited his Nike line. Not only did James crown his new kicks as his "favorite shoe to date,' but Nike his helped his cause with various attention-grabbing colorways, many of which have paid homage to past Nike shoes and athletes.
In addition to the 'South Beach' pair he debuted on Tuesday, what are some of the best LeBron 15 Nike shoes James has worn this season? Let's take a look:
