CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Cavaliers remain winless.
With a 102-86 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, the Cavs fell to 0-4 and remain one of four winless teams in the NBA through the first week of the season. Cleveland headed to halftime tied with the Nets at 45, before being outscored 57-41 for the remainder of the contest.
Kevin Love led the Cavs with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while rookie point guard Collin Sexton added 14 points of his own. Brooklyn guard and Ohio State product D'Angelo Russell led all scorers with 18.

Fourth quarter
5:21: Nets 97, Cavs 75: And the Cavs will fall to 0-4 on the season.
Third quarter
End of quarter: Nets 83, Cavs 62: At least the Cavs shouldn't have any issue finding enough playing time for everybody tonight?
1:08: Nets 80, Cavs 60: Unless the Cavs show some sort of offensive prowess they haven't displayed all season, this one is all but over.
6:10: Nets 68, Cavs 50: Nets tack seven more points onto their lead with three players now in double-digit scoring figures. This one's getting out of hand quickly.
8:07: Nets 60, Cavs 49: Brooklyn pushes its lead to double-digits with a 13-2 run as the Cavs offense remains ineffective. Cleveland now 19-for-57 from the field and 3-for-13 from long-distance.
10:55: Nets 50, Cavs 47: A Joe Harris 3-pointer gives the Nets a 3-point lead and Tyronn Lue calls an early second half timeout.
Second quarter
End of quarter: Cavs 45, Nets 45: Cavs do a nice job of keeping pace with the Nets through the remainder of the first half. Kevin Love leads the team with 10 points and 9 rebounds, while Cedi Osman adds 8 points and 6 boards. Ohio State product D'Angelo Russell with 15 for Brooklyn.
5:08: Cavs 34, Nets 33: Cavs put together a solid 11-3 run, capped by a Kevin Love 3 to take the lead and force a Brooklyn timeout.
9:16: Nets 30, Cavs 23: Cavs reel off 6 straight points to start the quarter but give 6 back just like that. Collin Sexton with a couple of nice moments, including a defensive stop and driving layup.
First quarter
End of quarter: Nets 24, Cavs 17: Cavs played pretty good defense through the first quarter, but didn't do themselves any favors on offense, shooting 6-for-26.
2:56: Nets 19, Cavs 17: Kyle Korver one of the first subs off the bench for Cleveland (along with Larry Nance Jr. and eventually Collin Sexton). Tyronn Lue going with his veterans tonight after sitting both Korver and J.R. Smith in the home opener on Sunday.

8:58: Cavs 9, Nets 9: Cleveland showing good pace early getting up and down the court. Brooklyn had initially jumped out to a 9-6 advantage before a Kevin Love 3 forced a Nets timeout.
