CLEVELAND — Cleveland Heights native and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday night to react to Max Strus' game-winning shot for the Cavaliers.
Strus hit a total of five three-pointers in the fourth quarter, swishing his final shot from beyond half-court, giving the Cleveland Cavaliers a 121-119 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.
Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes tagged Kelce in a video of Strus' game-winning bucket on X with the caption "Ain't no way."
Kelce responded to Mahomes by re-posting the video, saying, "Straight cash!!! Them boys got the juice right now!! @cavs."
According to Basketball Reference, Strus' sensational shot is the second-longest game-winner in the 3-point era (1979-80). Devonte Graham made a 61-footer for New Orleans to beat Oklahoma City on Dec. 15, 2021.
