After fighting through a seven-game series against the Indiana Pacers in round one and sweeping the Toronto Raptors out of the Eastern Conference Semifinals just as they did in 2017, the Cavaliers will compete against the Boston Celtics in the East Finals for the second consecutive season.

The Cavaliers clinched their spot in the Eastern Conference Finals with the four-game sweep over the Raptors in the second round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, while the Celtics, despite being injury-ravaged for the entire season, earned their way back to the third round with a 4-1 series win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Celtics closed out the 76ers with a 114-112 win in Boston Wednesday night.

The Cavaliers and Celtics will play Games 1 and 2 at TD Garden in Boston, while Games 3 and 4 will be contested at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. If necessary, Games 5 and 7 would be in Boston, while Game 6 would be played in Cleveland.

The Cavaliers took the regular-season series over the Celtics, 2-1, with one of those wins coming at the TD Garden in Boston.

The Cavaliers defeated the Celtics, 102-99, in the regular-season opener at Quicken Loans Arena, but fell, 102-88, in Boston on January 3. After retooling their roster at the NBA Trade Deadline just three days earlier and a nationwide audience watching, the Cavaliers defeated the Celtics, 121-99, at TD Garden on February 11.
