CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers continued to be active in free agency with Miami Heat's shooting guard Max Strus reportedly agreeing on a four-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that agent Mark Bartelstein told ESPN that Strus agreed on a $63 million sign-and-trade deal with the Cavaliers.
The three-team deal will give the Miami Heat a second-round pick and the San Antonio Spurs will acquire Cedi Osman, Lamar Stevens and a second-round pick.
The 27-year-old DePaul product spent the past three seasons with the Miami Heat. During the 2022-23 season, Strus averaged 11.5 points per game, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and shot 35% from beyond the arc, helping his team make a run in the NBA Finals.
The move comes less than 24 hours after the Cavs agreed to deals with Caris LeVert and Georges Niang within the first hour of free agency.
