CLEVELAND -- There was plenty of drama surrounding the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, and this time around, it was reserved to the action on the court.

With just one second remaining in the first overtime against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Cavaliers forward Jeff Green triggered the inbounds pass from the sideline in the backcourt to LeBron James at the opposite free-throw line.

After catching the pass from Green, James spun to his left, raised up over the defender and fired a shot that went in just as the buzzer sounded and delivered the Cavaliers to a 140-138 victory over the Timberwolves that brought fans inside Quicken Loans Arena to their feet in celebration.

The buzzer-beating winner was far from the only late-game heroics James came through with against Minnesota.

Timberwolves guard Jimmy Butler was driving to the basket against Cedi Osman with seven seconds remaining in the overtime period and attempted a shot. However, James came over from the opposite side of the key after Butler released the ball and blocked the shot before it had a chance to get to the rim.

The Cavaliers controlled the loose ball and called a timeout to set up the final possession of the game.
