CLEVELAND — On the day of the memorial service for Kobe and Gianna Bryant in Los Angeles, a local company has announced some heartwarming news.
As of Monday morning, GV Art + Design has announced that they have raised over $80,000 for the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Foundation through the sales of their '24 Forever' t-shirt.
On January 27, one day after the helicopter crash that took Bryant's life along with eight other people, the company announced that they would be selling the '24 Forever shirt.'
"This was the toughest shirt we have ever had to create," GV Art + Design wrote on social media. "But after hearing from so many of you. We decided to pay tribute the best way we know how! Thank you for inspiring a generation Kobe. 100% of the proceeds will go to to the Kobe and Vanessa Foundation."
According to owner George Vlosich III, the response to the '24 Forever' t-shirt campaign has been 'overwhelming.' The company has shipped t-shirts to customers in over 15 different countries.
Vlosich is scheduled to be a guest on Monday's Front Row at 7 p.m. on 3News.
