CLEVELAND — Just as it did 25 years ago, the NBA will pay tribute to the legends of its game -- past and present -- in Cleveland.
On Wednesday, the league announced that it will honor its 75th Anniversary Team during halftime of the 2022 NBA All-Star Game at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Sunday, Feb. 20.
Singer and Cleveland Cavaliers part-owner Usher, Academy Award-winning director Spike Lee, comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish and actor and comedian Anthony Anderson will each be a part of the presentation, as they narrate fans through a journey of the league's first 75 years. The halftime finale will feature a performance from Earth, Wind and Fire, who will perform their hit "Shining Star."
Members of the 75th Anniversary Team will be in the arena for the ceremony, which comes 25 years after the league honored its 50th Anniversary Team during halftime of the most recent All-Star Game in Cleveland.
