KENT, Ohio — (AP) Danny Pippen had 24 points plus 10 rebounds as Kent State defeated Bowling Green 83-69 on Tuesday night.
Antonio Williams added 22 points for the Golden Flashes (19-11, 9-8 MAC play), along with six assists, three blocks, and two steals. Justin Turner led the Falcons (21-9, 12-5) with 24 points.
The win helped give Akron at least a share of the MAC regular season championship, as the Zips came back to beat Ohio 74-67. KSU will travel to Akron Friday night for a rematch with their archrivals, whom they beat by a single point back on Jan. 31.
