UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — Lakewood product Olivia Nagy posted her 11th double-double of the season and 10th-ranked John Carroll dominated from start to finish in a 77-50 thrashing of Mount Union Wednesday night.
Nagy finished with a game-high 20 points and 12 rebounds, making 9 of her 11 attempts from the field. The Blue Streaks (13-2, 9-1 OAC) never trailed once on their way to their seventh straight win, which allowed to maintain a share of first place in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Green native Kelsie Glass led Mount with 14 points off the bench. The Purple Raiders (6-9, 3-6) shot just 31% from the field, including 2 of 15 from 3-point range.
John Carroll will next head to Columbus to play Capital Saturday afternoon, while Mount Union will host Ohio Northern around the same time.
