MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Brittni Moore had a game-high 26 points with seven assists and Amele Ngwafang added a double-double as Cleveland State stormed past Central Michigan 86-55 Thursday afternoon.
The win marked the eighth straight for the Vikings (8-1, 1-1 Horizon League) following a season-opening loss to No. 10 Iowa State. Ngwafang hauled in 10 rebounds and scored 16, the same number of points as Willowick native Destiny Leo.
Snyder Harris led the Chippewas (1-7) with 20 points and six 3s. CMU shot just 29.5% from the field, compared to 47% for CSU.
Cleveland State will be back in action Sunday afternoon for a road matchup against Akron.
