The Vikings (21-14) were led by Tae Williams, who posted 15 points and made a layup with 20 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. Jayson Woodrich added 14 points for Cleveland State. In addition, Tristan Enaruna had 12 points, two steals and two blocks.
The season now officially over, CSU will lose starters Deante Johnson and Deshon Parker to graduation, as well as veteran sixth man Yahel Hill. Remaining starters Enaruna, Lowder, and Williams could potentially return for fifth seasons in college due to waivers granted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
