Jarred Godfrey scored five of his 20 points in the final two minutes of the third overtime period to lift Purdue Fort Wayne to a 102-98 victory over Cleveland State Monday night.

Damian Chong Qui hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to end regulation to pull the Mastodons (16-10, 11-6 Horizon League) even and force the first overtime, and CSU's Tre Gomillion missed two free throws with a second left in that first OT to force a second extra period. Deshon Parker's 3-pointer with three seconds left in the second overtime pulled the Vikings even and forced a third five-minute overtime period.

The game was still tied at 95 with 1:04 to play before Chong Qui made another 3 and Chris Greene missed, one, and PFW made four free throws down the stretch to seal it. Chong Qui finished with 11 points while Jalon Pipkins led the Mastadons with 27.

Gomillion, Broc Finstuen, and Torey Patton all had 14 points for the Vikes (17-7, 13-4). CSU led by as many as 14 in the second half before eventually allowing Fort Wayne to pull ahead with a 15-2 run.

Despite losing two of its last three in heartbreaking fashion, Cleveland State still sits in first in the Horizon League by 1 1/2 games over Oakland. They'll look to get back in the win column Friday night at Milwaukee.
