CLEVELAND — Cleveland State women's basketball gave the Horizon League's top team all it could handle, but eventually fell in overtime Friday night, 77-69.

Willowick native Destiny Leo led CSU (15-5, 10-4 Horizon League) with 18 points, but missed a potential go-ahead jumper with 44 seconds left. The Vikings actually led by six with just over four minutes to play before Mady Aulbach and Malia Magestro each hit 3-pointers.

The Penguins (20-4, 14-3) failed to win it in regulation when Chelsea Olson missed a pair of shots as time expired, but subsequently made 4 of their 5 attempts (including three 3s) in OT to pull away. Olson paced YSU with 21 points and Lilly Ritz added 17 along with 18 rebounds.

Youngstown State remains tied for first in the conference with IUPUI, which has won 12 in a row. Cleveland State falls to fifth and will host Robert Morris Sunday afternoon at the Wolstein Center.
