CLEVELAND — Baker Mayfield has a big fan in Deacon Jones of Oklahoma City.
On Monday morning, video of Deacon was tweeted out that shows the youngster saying his favorite thing to do is “play sports” and his one wish is “to play catch with Baker Mayfield.”
The video, posted by his father Derek Jones, was captioned: “Hey @bakermayfield let’s make his wish happen!!! Deke is your biggest littlest fan!!!”
The tweet caught Mayfield’s eye, and he quickly replied with the best reaction ever.
“We can make this happen!” Mayfield tweeted in response.
3News' Stephanie Haney talked with Deacon's dad, who said: "Deacon is 4 years old and is a sports nut! He’s been a Baker fan since Baker was at OU [Oklahoma University] and has made our household in OKC big time Browns fans."
Here's hoping we get to see that game of catch happen in real life, very soon.
