Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55 on Sunday, the Cleveland Browns' 2020 offseason is officially underway.
What follows are the key dates to know on the 2020 NFL offseason calendar, in which the Browns will look to improve on their 11-5 regular-season record and run the AFC divisional round in 2020.
Feb. 23: Teams are permitted to apply their franchise or transition tag to players. Only one use of either tag is permitted per team.
March 9: Deadline for teams to apply franchise or transition tag to players.
March 15: The "legal tampering" period begins. Teams are permitted to begin negotiating deals with free agents.
March 17: The 2021 league calendar officially begins at 4 p.m. ET. Teams are permitted to officially sign free agents and complete trades, including those that had been previously arranged.
April 5: Offseason workouts can begin for teams with new head coaches.
April 19: Offseason workouts can begin for the rest of the league.
April 23: Final day to sign restricted free agents to offer sheets
April 28: Final day for teams to match restricted free agent offer sheets
April 29-May 1: 2021 NFL Draft in Cleveland, Ohio.
