Game preview
While the Browns bounced back from their blowout defeat at the hands of the New England Patriots in Week 10 with a win over the Lions, it wasn't pretty. Barely hanging on to beat a winless Detroit team, Cleveland once again struggled offensively, especially in the passing game, with a banged-up Baker Mayfield completing just 15 of his 29 pass attempts for 176 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
The good news for the Browns is that wins pretty and ugly count the same and this one helped move Cleveland to 6-4 on the season. Now comes what will likely be the most pivotal three-week stretch on the Browns' schedule, with a pair of games against the first-place Ravens sandwiched around Cleveland's bye week.
Beat Baltimore this Sunday and the Browns will enter a much-needed bye week potentially in the driver's seat of the AFC North. Lose, however, and Cleveland will likely be staring at a must-win matchup with the Ravens on the back end of its bye.
