Game preview

Despite getting blown out by the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 of the 2020 season, the Browns bounced back to string together consecutive victories against the Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Football Team, achieving a winning record for the first time at any point in a season since the 2014 campaign. While neither of the Browns' past two opponents are considered to be playoff contenders, Cleveland's offense has shown plenty of promise, especially with running back Nick Chubb continuing to establish himself as one of the best players at his position.

Meanwhile, Dallas enters Sunday's game with tied with Washington for first place in the NFC East with a 1-2 record. The Cowboys are looking to bounce back from last week's loss to the Seattle Seahawks and take control of a division that once again appears up for grabs.

Prediction

While the Browns have won with ground and pound, Dak Prescott's ability and a wide receiver trio consisting of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb will force Baker Mayfield to keep pace. To this point in the season, the Browns passing game has left something to be desired and unless that changes on Sunday, the Cowboys should be able to build a lead before running out the clock behind Ezekiel Elliott

Final score: Cowboys 34, Browns 24
