Over the last two years, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry and cornerback Denzel Ward have become accustomed to squaring off against each other.
But on Wednesday, the two Browns teammates will face off in a different type of competition.
At 6 p.m. ET, Landry and Ward will play each other in the first round of an eight-player Madden tournament to raise funds for coronavirus (COVID-19) relief. The winner with advance to Thursday's semifinals, where they'll face the winner of Wednesday's 7 p.m. matchup between Kansas City Chiefs teammates Tyrann Mathieu and Tyreek Hill.
The finals will take place at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday. The entire tournament will be streamed on Madden's Twitch channel.
As a part of the tournament, Electronic Arts and the NFL Foundation will each donate $5,000 to charity per participant, as well as another $20,000 to the charities of the winner's choice.
The Madden Tournament -- which is a joint venture between the NFL and EA Sports -- is similar to the Players-Only NBA2K Tournament set to begin on Friday. As is the case in the Madden Tournament, Cleveland will once again be represented, with Cavaliers center Andre Drummond taking on free agent DeMarcus Cousins in his first-round matchup of the tournament set to be aired on ESPN.
